Abstract: This paper presents a grid-tied PV system including a battery storage system. The influence of PV and battery degradations on the operation and performance of the system will be assessed. To the best of our knowledge, this study for the first time takes these effects into account and suggests that considering degradations will have a significant impact on the results. This remarkable accuracy can help prosumers to reach a firm decision on their investment.
