All synthetic approaches reported so far forAg(3)SI and Ag3SBr require long synthesis times(typically days, weeks, or even months) and high temperatures. Herein,we report the synthesis of these materials using a fast and low-temperaturemethod involving mechanochemistry. Structural and optical propertiesare examined experimentally and supported by first-principles calculations.Furthermore, we deposit Ag3SI as thin films by pulsed laserdeposition and characterize its optoelectronic properties using optical-pump-terahertz-probemeasurements, revealing a high charge-carrier mobility of 49 cm(2) V-1 s(-1). This work pavesthe way to the implementation of chalcohalide antiperovskites in variousoptoelectronic applications. | Notes: | Bolink, HJ; Palazon, F (corresponding author), Univ Valencia, Inst Ciencia Mol, Paterna 46980, Spain.; Palazon, F (corresponding author), Univ Politecn Cartagena, Dept Ingn Quim & Ambiental, Cartagena 30202, Spain. henk.bolink@uv.es; francisco.palazon@upct.es |
