Title: | An investigation on the electronic structure of poly(isothianaphthene) | Authors: | Hoogmartens, I. ADRIAENSENS, Peter CARLEER, Robert VANDERZANDE, Dirk MARTENS, Harry GELAN, Jan |
Issue Date: | 1992 | Source: | Synthetic metals, 51(1-3). p. 219-228 | Abstract: | Abstract Using selective, solid-state NMR pulse sequences, we have estimated the 13C chemical shift of inequivalent carbons of the title polymer. In order to investigate the electronic structure of PITN, several model compounds of aromatic and quinoid structure were synthesized. The NMR results suggest a bulk structure for neutral PITN with a high quinoid contribution that has been confirmed by Raman spectroscopy. | Document URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/1942/4567 | DOI: | 10.1016/0379-6779(92)90274-M | Type: | Journal Contribution |
