Letters dienen gedecodeerd te worden om tot betekenis te komen.Eenieder die in het leesproces gehinderd wordt, kan zich persoonlijk minder ontwikkelen op intellectueel en sociaal vlak. Reading is done without consciously recognising letters. Nevertheless letters constitue an important aspect to determind legibility. Letters need to be decoded in order to obtain meaning. A person whose readingprocess is impeded, is less able to develop both intellectual and social. |
