Abstract: In this essay I will discuss a series of works entitled Archive of the uncategorized in relation to my PhD research with the working title “The scenography of sublime space”. The archives series, which I started in 2011, coincides with the transition of my work from an 'autonomous' artistic practice to a research context. In this text I will identify three ‘resonances’ between my artistic practice and the method, content and form of the research.
